Glendale Bear With Sweet Tooth Back Thursday Night?

The bear wandered several Glendale backyards. It may be the same bear that snacked on Baklava nearly two weeks ago.

A bear spotted in a residential neighborhood of Glendale Thursday night made its way back into the woods after moving through several streets and back yards, police said.

The 150- to 250-pound bear was first seen in the 3100 block of Linda Vista Road around 9:10 p.m., said Glendale police Sgt. Craig Tweedy.

Police monitored the animal as it moved through the neighborhood at the top of Chevy Chase Canyon, Tweedy said. It may be the same bear seen in May dining on chicken, rice and Baklava from a trash can.

The bear had retreated back into the hills by around 11:30 p.m., Tweedy said.
