Monrovia Star Recruit McCarthy Having MRI on Knee
McCarthy limped off the field during Monrovia's Friday loss to Arcadia, and the Wildcats' coach said he's scheduled to have an MRI on his knee.
Star defensive tackle will get an MRI Monday on his ailing knee after he limped off the field during the Wildcats' loss to Arcadia last week, the school's head coach told Patch.
Wildcats Head Coach Ryan Maddox said that McCarthy would be getting a MRI on his knee on Monday after he continued to feel pain in the knee over the weekend. While coaches believe the injury is just "general soreness," they sent McCarthy for the test as a precaution.
Maddox did not indicate when the results of the MRI would be available.
