Suspects Arrested For Allegedly Killing Monrovia Man

Two men were arrested for their alleged involvement in the gang-related killings of two men.

Two 20-year-old men suspected of the gang-related fatal shooting of two men at a party in North Hollywood in August were arrested this week.

Gregory Edmond, of Simi Valley, and Telvin Breaux, of Los Angeles, were arrested after Los Angeles Police Department detectives from the North Hollywood Division served search and arrest warrants in Los Angeles and Simi Valley.

The two suspects were arrested for suspicion of murder and are being held at the Valley Jail Section pending arraignment in Van Nuys Superior Court. Bail was set at $2 million each, police said.

Police said uninvited gang rivals showed up at a party on Aug. 20 at 8140 Coldwater Canyon Ave., one block north of Strathern Street, and the shooting broke out at 1:35 p.m.

Deon Michael Bastian, 22, of Monrovia, died of a gunshot wound to the head. Wilson Pierre, 22, of Pasadena, was taken to Kaiser Panorama City Medical Center where he died of a gunshot wound to the chest.
