Bears do fine with very little but high quality attention and love. We tend to forage and rootRead Morearoun d, and love a good tree for scratchin'. Truly, sometimes, most of the time in fact, that is all that is needed. Marty Man, cliches aren't my thing...well, because they are cliche....however, CHIN UP. What you do is a huge leap and a change. Let go of the expectations you once had about how stuff was supposed to be, and jump into the void. It's completely healthy to do what you do, and let others do the same....let yourself and her do something else now. I love this dudes' blog, he is real and funny and been shares how he found some joy and peace....Leo is the best. http://zenhabits.net/

Yes.. And I am not some gone-in-the-head person who doesn't understand these animals we live nearRead Moreca n and ARE dangerous...It's just that when the media is alerted, the drama and fear-mongering is too much for me....I remember clearly one year, long time ago, our son was a baby....this is when it first started happening, the over reporting. There were 3 news copters over my house that shook the windows for 45 minutes...I was like Apocalypse Now...and all the commotion scared the bears so bad, they shot one with a tranq, it fell to it's death. TOTALLY avoidable....the worst part was the reporters..."Something has spooked the bear, and it will not come down..." (gee wonder what it was? Maybe the sound of copters?) Either way, I remember how mad MPD and animal control was...they understood how bad the news was, how little they helped, and how much WORSE the situation became, for EVERYONE involved. People that have bears on their property that live high enough up where it happens can which bear is which, who is a problem (Uncle Vinnie is a total jerk, watch out for him...love him but he is the guy who ruins Thanksgiving every year, Capiche?) which bear is sick, who is old...everything..... the constant media shout-outs are harming us, not helping the situation of living with and around these smart, majestic, sexy, good looking, well-meaning bears. Ahem.

Rubberband........I am on a new life mission!!! (lets see if I can stick to it). I have pledged toRead Mores tay of the blogs that go down a dark hole. I have vowed to change my blogs eliminating the excitable partisanship. I have done some thinking about this today. Really, there are relatively only few people that go around spilling senseless insults, and hate. This is a virus that infects and grows, worming its way around, changing others, as it did me, .....making them just a little more curse......spreading to innocent readers....spreading ....and perhaps just a little left for some others to walk away from their computer each day with a slight edge they did not have earlier. Those few that do this have a forum right now, but this can be changed. I am one of the ones who thought I had a job to counter balance others partisanship. All that became was a pair off of arguing. I then become part of the viral growth. That won't happen anymore. As I begin turning my blogs away from inciteful headlines and comments, the few loud haters will not be allowed to infect my blogs. period. As I saw the Murrieta Patch began eliminating the personal attack blogs, I thought we could start a movement and turn this thing around. If the guy in the article above can be inspirational, I can at least try to be. This would never of happened if you were never here to influence me. thanks Rubberband man. It started from you. Now lets get up, at take over the world...for good!!!!!!

Where is this at??
Jeffe' April 02, 2014 at 02:15 AM
I refrained from responding to your March 17th post because after reviewing your post and mine IRead Moredet ermined this is one of those subjects where it is unlikely that either of us would sway in our opinions, and at worst we may end up being less friendly because of it. =) That said, you seem to accept that there is empirical evidence of CO2 being a greenhouse gas (to what extent is aside the point). You probably would cede that humans are responsible for releasing some quantity of this substance into the atmosphere every year (we burn a lot of things for energy). It would seem to me that you do indeed agree that it is possible for man-contributed warming of earth. Back to my original point, it is my experience that most people that are willing to ponder the subject will have more in common than to argue about. Specifically, that is is simply a question of how much we are changing or can change our climate.
Jeffe' April 02, 2014 at 02:32 AM
Riddle me this..... Do you think the nations of this world could accelerate global warming through Read Morethe greenhouse effect if they desired to? -Sincerely yours. Jeffe
Fortified- AKA Carlos Danger April 02, 2014 at 02:43 AM
I would agree with you 100% if things were normal. Under normal conditions, and now we both want aRead Morec lean environment, and a better future for everyone and the Earth. I view the alarmists as the bad guy here. You and I would be on the same side. While you and I may have more in common, the alarmists and skeptics are miles apart. Peoples opinions runs right down the party lines. That means two things. Almost no one from either side knows anything, and facts don't matter. Belief's are made by emotion...on both sides. I am certainly no expert. But learning and arguing, in two years on Patch no one has ever been able to discuss the basic facts, and simple science. Its all headlines, and phrases. Scientists, and PHD's have never answered one of my many simple questions...not one. I am happy to discuss the issue, and things never get testy by my initiation of it. If you are interested in what the other side has, I believe this site is the best, and I trust her stuff. ( http://joannenova.com.au/ ) Go down the left column and read the skeptics handbook for a general idea I assumed Global warming as so until I started reading up on it. I guarantee that if you spend time looking at the counter points, and yes checking the counter points as well, you will look at the issue very differently. Besides we're going toward a cooling period, maybe "little ice age" anyway.

fortunately there were no injuries~just wondering however, that if we are to obey the law, why when Read Morethe law is broken there are no consequences or action taken, like at least a ticket ~ so the driver would hope to get their license & become legal, also getting insurance~ make our streets safer i guess, would be a good thing, i would think? j.w.~ thanks Rubberband for your input~

Most people will opt for an exchange of info if both drivers are willing in minor accidents whereRead Moreth ere's no provable violation to show whose at fault. That's if they have insurance.
