Annual Winter Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting Set for Old Town Monrovia Dec. 5

Monrovia's annual Winter Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting is set.

The event is at 7 p.m. Dec. 5.  This year's theme is "An Old Town Holiday," according to the city's website.

The parade route goes along Myrtle Avenue from Chestnut to Palm.

Those still feeling festive might want to participate in the city's Holiday Home Decorating Contest.  The city added a new category at the suggestion of Councilman Tom Adams - "Best Decorated K-Rail."
