Circus Vargas Giving Unemployed Free Thanksgiving Performance

Circus Vargas is also offering 2-for-1 Arena tickets to all San Gabriel Valley residents.

Circus Vargas will treat unemployed San Gabriel Valley residents to a free performance at 7:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving day at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia. Tabares Entertainment, which operates Circus Vargas, is also offering 2-for-1 Arena tickets for the same performance to all San Gabriel Valley residents.

This Thanksgiving holiday marks the fourth consecutive year Circus Vargas has implemented its community unemployment relief effort.

“We are very sensitive to national economic conditions and their affect on the communities we visit,” Tabares Entertainment Vice President Katya Quiroga said. “We feel very fortunate to be able to provide families with a brief escape from day-to-day pressures by offering an evening of laughs and amazing entertainment under the Big Top, compliments of Circus Vargas!”

To redeem free tickets, patrons should bring a layoff notice or a recent unemployment check stub to the box office approximately an hour before show time.

The 2-for-1 Arena tickets may be purchased at the Circus Vargas box office the day of the show. Proof of residency is required. *Limit four tickets per household. Tickets will be sold based on availability.

Circus Vargas will perform at Santa Anita Park from Nov. 22 through Dec. 3. For more information, visit www.circusvargas.com, call 877-GOTFUN-1 (877-468-3861), or go to the circus box office, which opens Wednesday.
