Family Peace Inc. to Host Free Memory Screening Tuesday

The screening is in honor of Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month.

The Monrovia non-profit Family Peace Inc. and Diana Bey will host a free and confidential Memory Screening Tuesday in honor of Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month.

The event will be at 11 a.m. in the Monrovia Community Center's Iris Room.

President Obama issued a Presidential Proclamation to declare November as National Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month.

"We stand with everyone confronting the painful reality of an Alzheimer's diagnosis; lend our support to the families who care for them; and renew our commitment to delaying, preventing, and ultimately curing this disease," he wrote.

Space is limited to reserve an appointment, call Rebecca Ramos at 626-256-8232.
