The Allied Veterans Council of the Upper San Gabriel Valley, in cooperation with the city of Monrovia, will salute servicemen and women Monday at an annual ceremony.
The Veterans Day Observance will take place at 11 a.m. in front of the Monrovia Library, 321 S. Myrtle Ave.
The ceremony will include a posting of the colors, a keynote speaker, patriotic songs played by the Monrovia High School Band, and the placing of the memorial wreath, according to the city's website.
City Hall and other government offices are closed Monday in observance of Veteran's Day.
