Action On Film International Film Festival

The eighth annual Action On Film International Film Festival returns this summer in our new home base - Monrovia, California. This week long film festival features more than 600 screenings of shorts, features, music videos, and experimental films.

All screenings will take place at the Krikorian Premiere Theatre at 410 S. Myrtle Ave. Along with screening films, there will be after parties and mixers at many of the local Monrovia businesses including Sena Restaurant, Candy Connection, The Peach Cafe, Rudy's Mexican Restaurant, Mediterranean Garden Grill, and the DoubleTree Monrovia - our official host hotel.

The festival will be attracting filmmakers from all over the world, celebrities including Tom Sizemore and Nick Mancuso, amongst others, film fans, and many Monrovia residents.

The festival is offering free documentary screenings to all Monrovia residents and free children's movies to all children in the area. For your free ticket to an AOF screening, please pick up a publication of the Route 66 Weekly at one of the local restaurants/vendors of the magazine, and you will find a free ticket on the back. Bring this to the UPS Store during the week of the festival, have it stamped by our friend Marty at the UPS Store, and come up to the Krikorian to enjoy the beautiful air-conditioned theatre while watching a great AOF documentary or children's film.

You may also check out our website to see the films playing this year and purchase single tickets and ticket packges on our online store, or buy tickets at the door during the event.
