Diwali is the Indian New Year, also known as the Festival of Lights. It's one of the most celebrated holidays in India and among Indians around the world. This event will include performances of classical, folk, and modern dances from India, Indian vocal and instrumental musical performances, and skits by children and adults.
An Indian feast will be served starting at 6 p.m. for $5 per person. The cultural program starts at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $10 per person for the cultural show.
The event will take place inside the auditorium at Clifton Middle School, 226 S. Ivy Ave in Monrovia.
