'Action on Film Festival' Kicks Off Friday Night

Monrovia is hosting its first-ever film festival and the first screenings debut Friday evening at the Krikorian Theaters.

The "Action on Film Festival" will make its debut in Old Town Monrovia Friday night, kicking off three days of movie screenings and events.

The festival includes a dozen films and shorts made by local filmmakers in partnership with local cable access network KGEM. .

Thanks for the info and updates from Patch! I caught my first film last night and it was fun to see a hollywood crowd and some of the film's actors in the audience. I can't wait to see local director Lance Mungia's Six String Samurai tonight on the big screen! If you are into movies, you should check out this rare opportunity to select from dozens of new and upcoming movies from a wide variety of categories screening in Old Town Monrovia.
