Celebrate the New Year in Old Town

Monrovia's second annual New Year's Eve bash kicks off Monday night.

Why watch the ball drop on TV when you can watch it rise right here in town?

Monrovia's second annual New Year's Eve celebration starts at 7 p.m. Monday and goes until the calendar flips at midnight. The free bash on Myrtle Avenue features a beer and wine garden ($5 a pop), a live band, and a midnight toast.

Parking is free and restaurants along Myrtle will be open for dinner and gatherings.
