Gas Prices Are On the Rise: Where to Find the Cheapest Gas in Monrovia

The cheapest price for a gallon of regular gasoline in Monrovia can be found at the 76 Station at 1602 South Myrtle Avenue (at East Pomona Avenue) for $4.06, according to GasBuddy.com.

An increase of two-tenths of  a cent today pushed the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County to its highest amount since Sept. 19.

The average price has increased 27 of the past 28 days to $4.044, 6.8 cents more than one week ago and 26.6 cents higher than one month ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

However, the average price is 14.7 cents less than one year ago.

The average price has risen 26.6 cents over the past 28 days, including four-tenths of a cent on Sunday.

The Orange County average price rose one-tenth of a cent today to $4.032, its highest amount since Sept. 18. It has increased 39 of the past 40 days, rising 41.1 cents over that span, including two-tenths of a cent on Sunday.

The Orange County average price is 6.3 cents more than one week ago and 25.4 cents higher than one month ago, but 13.8 cents less than one year ago.
