Gas Prices Rising; Where to Fill Up in Monrovia for Cheap

The least expensive gasoline can be found at Chevron at 902 W. Foothill Blvd. in Monrovia for $4.13 per gallon, according to GasBuddy.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today to its highest amount since June 24, increasing 1 cent to $4.14.

The average price is 6.3 cents more than one week ago, 16.6 cents higher than one month ago and 9.1 cents above what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The Orange County average price rose to its highest amount since June 23, increasing six-tenths of a cent to $4.12. The average price is 6.4 cents more than one week ago, 15 cents higher than one month ago and 9.6 cents above what it was one year ago.
