Do Your Homework

Clients need to do their homework beforehand to see what styles they want, sort of like a bride would do. I tell them to bring different ideas and look at different books.

Prepare Your Hair

Wash, dry and condition; prepare the hair before your appointment so it’s nice and shiny.

Touch Up Color, Split Ends

Get a hair cut before your appointment if you need one so no split ends show up in your hair do.

If you color your hair, have it touched up to make sure there are no roots.

Hair Before Makeup

Get your hair done before doing the makeup.

Think About Accessories

Bring any pins or ornaments you want to wear in your hair. Rhinestones work very well and sometimes Maria bobby pins pearls in a client’s hair.

The Whole Package

Make sure skin is prepared for your special event.

Make an appointment to shape eyebrows or get a manicure a few days before your special day.
