Monrovia Gets New Christmas Tree

Last year's windstorm knocked down Monrovia's iconic pine in Library Park but the city has planted a new one thanks to a donation from Home Depot.

Monrovia's annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony will continue on after the city planted a new tree in Library Park, route: {:controller=>"listings", :action=>"show", :id=>"monrovia-library-park"} --> to replace the giant pine

So glad we have a new true. May it grow strong and tall and be there for the next 100 years or so. Thanks for making this happen.

That's wonderful, but wasn't the previous location at Myrtle and Palm?

I'm so happy to hear we can call it a Christmas tree instead of a "Holiday Tree." It's a really cool looking tree. I drove by to check it out and it's really pretty. Rock on Home Depot!
