So says the sign advertising the arrival of S'Links Gourmet Hot Dogs, a new frankfurter focused cafe planning to open its doors at 630 S. Myrtle Avenue in August.

Co-owner Ted Ramsay said the restaurant has all sorts of hot dog options planned. Some are traditional, like the Chicago Dog or the Kraut Dog, while others--like the Weenie Panini--are original creations.

And then there's the local flavor of the Wildcat Dog. The Wildcat includes the heat of the "ghost chili," a pepper known to foodies as one of the hottest chilis on the planet. Ramsay assures potential Wildcat eaters that the pepper isn't unbearable.

"I've tried it, it's pretty good," he said. "It's a nice comfortable heat."

Fans of shows like "Man vs. Food" will also be pleased to learn that S'Links will offer up its own eating challenge. Anyone who consumes the S'Linkenstein—a 14-inch dog loaded with all the fixings—will get a t-shirt and their name on the wall.

Ramsay said the restaurant will not offer beer or alcohol and is going for a family-friendly feel. The name is an abbreviation of "sausage link," he said.

The age of the building has proven challenging for some construction projects, but Ramsay said he hopes to be open in a matter of weeks.

"We're close," he said.
