Is it just me or did anyone else see the post about Monrovia Unified again thinking about buying ipads for the students? I seem to recall a meeting late last year where citizens voiced their opinion of spending this kind of money in economic downturn times. First off, I ask is WHY? Maybe this should be considered once teachers get a raise, class sizes are reduced again, and our economy is a lot more stable.
What about all the computer labs at the schools? Is it we have to chase every new invention and spend the money? I wonder really why the school board would even consider this option. Let's hear from the citizens again.
