Get Ready for the Christian Gospel Explosion at Library Park
Several local Baptist churches are planning a gospel concert at Library Park next month.
Baptist churches from Monrovia and Duarte are banding together later this month for the "Christian Gospel Explosion" concert event at Library Park.
Second Baptist Church, Community Baptist and Indonesia Baptist in Monrovia will join First Baptist Church and New Jerusalem Baptist in Duarte to throw the gospel bash on June 29, according to Monrovia-Arcadia-Duarte Town Council member Terrence Williams.
"This event will be mostly focused in the band shell area with all of the choirs combined with food and fun and of course reaching out to witness to those who attend," Williams wrote in an email.
The concert is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
