Monrovia Still Seeks Votes in Old Town Makeover Contest
Monrovians can vote once per day in the "Main Street Matters" contest until the end of June.
From the city manager's weekly report:
Old Town Monrovia is competing for a facelift – including paint for façades, porches, railings, shutters and other exterior building trims – against 100 cities across the country.
The City of Monrovia has been nominated as a participant in Benjamin Moore's biggest initiative ever to revitalize communities across North America... “Main Street Matters.”
Cast your vote online for which 20 Main Streets should be revitalized at www.paintwhatmatters.com. Vote every day until June 30, 2013.
