Monrovia Woman Wins Miss LA County Pageant

Monet Bagneris took home the title last week in a pageant that is a precursor to Miss California.

A Monrovia woman took home the Miss Los Angeles County award last week and brought home the Miss Congeniality award for good measure.

Monet Bagneris, the daughter of Pasadena City Attorney Michele Beal Bagneris, beat out 25 other contestants and was crowned Miss LA County last Saturday, the Pasadena Weekly reported.

Bagneris won with the platform, "Their life, your hands: Promoting healthy lifestyles for our children,” the Weekly reported.
