Construction crews continue to remodel a building at the corner of Lime and Myrtle Avenues that will house a new restaurant.
The restaurant, called Meridian, will serve traditional Mediterranean food, according to Monrovia's development blog.
The planning commission has approved the restaurant's conditional use permit to serve beer and wine. The establishment will have indoor seating for about 40 people and a patio area that seats 16, according to an agenda report.
