The Options Head Start program will be forced to cut its afternoon program because of federal sequestration cuts that eliminated funding for early childhood education, KPCC reports.
Hundreds of kids are already on the waiting list to join San Gabriel Valley Head Start programs and that line will grow as sequestration cuts are implemented, according to KPCC. Options will keep its morning program open.
