Black History Month: Celebration of the Arts Through the Eyes of the Movement

The Monrovia and Duarte Unified School Districts and the Monrovia Duarte Black Alumni Association are hosting this Black History month art contest.

Students in grades K-12 had the opportunity to participate in the Black History Month Celebration of the Arts.  All forms of the arts illustrating the theme, The Civil Rights Movement in America" will be showcased during this arts festival.

We invite the community to join the families and friends of our young artists to support their efforts. Let's come together to celebrate their accomplishments.

Awards will be presented during the art exhibit.  Following the awards ceremony light refreshments will be served.

Let's all show our support for the youth of our community.
