The winner must be in attendance at the event and in the stands at the
Rose Bowl to be eligible to win.  Rose Bowl fireworks officials will
select one fan from the Facebook contest to come down to the field to push the
plunger which will begin the show, setting off more than one ton of aerial
fireworks, set pieces and other pyro displays.

“We wanted to raise the bar and do something really special for this
year’s AmericaFest celebration,” said Darryl Dunn, general manager of the Rose
Bowl Stadium.  “July 4th is a great family holiday and the
additional enhancements are sure to provide for an incredible
experience.   We strive to annually maintain the Rose Bowl Stadium’s
reputation as one of the best fireworks shows in the West.”

fireworks effects, light shows and other multi-media entertainment. It’s going
to be spectacular.”
