The Allied Veterans Council of the Upper San Gabriel Valley sponsors this annual observance in cooperation with Live Oak Memorial Park and Mortuary. Color Guards from various local Veterans Organizations will advance the Colors and place Memorial Wreaths at the Honor Garden. Local dignitaries will welcome everyone and a speaker will give a Memorial Day Address. The Monrovia High School Band will play patriotic selections throughout the Tribute and a Fly Over by The Condor Squadron is scheduled. There will also be a 21-gun salute, a dove release and a piper will play "Amazing Grace".
