Military Mom Sews Handmade Pillowcases, Blankets for the Troops

Why is this person an "Everyday Inspiration?" 
Melissa has a heart for our military and their families. She has sewn over 600 handmade pillowcases for deployed troops in addition to numerous blankets that she has sewn.

She assists troop support groups by donating towels, blankets and tee shirts that she has appliquéd for their fundraisers and care packages. Melissa and her husband are Blue Star parents. Her work on behalf of our Troops has touched many lives and brought them comfort and encouragement as evidenced by letters and emails from deployed Troops.
