Foothill Transit is giving away free bus rides Thursday for "Dump the Pump Day," a day when people are encouraged to use public transportation.
"In these tough economic times with high gas prices, everyone is looking for a way to save a buck here and there," the local transit provider said in a news release. "Foothill Transit, in partnership with several public transit agencies around the nation, will be giving away free rides to the public as part of their participation in National Dump the Pump Day on Thursday, June 21."
Customers can visit foothilltransit.org/dumpthepump or visit any one of Foothill Transit’s five Transit Stores to receive a free ride coupon good on any Foothill Transit bus.
