A mama bear and her cub climbed a tree in the 800 block of Ridgeside Drive Thursday afternoon and chowed down.
"This mama bear and her young cub stopped by and spent about a half hour hanging out and eating in a tree in my backyard before climbing down and scampering off back into the wilderness," reader Tim Macias wrote in an email.
