Video: How to View Mars During the Rover Landing

JPL scientist and Monrovia resident Jane Houston put this video together explaining the Mars Rover "Curiousity" landing and how best to view Mars.

With the Mars Rover expected to touch down at 10:31 PST, here's a video produced by NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory astronomer and Monrovia resident Jane Houston Jones explaining the Curiosity landing and how best to see Mars at when it touches down.

The latest Mars Rover will land in an area of Mars called Gale Crater. The landing site will not be viewable through a telescope, according to Jones.
