Blog: Monrovia High School Celebrates WASC Accreditation

MHS WASC Accreditation Validates Progress and Success.

Monrovia High School received a six year clear accreditation from WASC last week. WASC the Western Association of Schools and Colleges is the organization that validates the quality of academic program a school is providing for students.

Monrovia High School received the highest commendation WASC gives, a six year accreditation with a mid-term progress report. The six year accreditation reflects eighteen months of preparation on the part of Monrovia HS faculty and students understanding what makes Monrovia a great place to go to school. The seven member committee was impressed by our students and our programs.

They were stunned by the support and commitment of the Monrovia community for the high school demonstrated by the $55 million bond measure and community members who welcomed the WASC visiting committee to campus.
