UPDATE: Bomb Threat Reported at Citrus

Another bomb threat forces evacuations of certain buildings on campus.

UPDATE, 10 p.m.: Authorities revealed that the phone call was made from a payphone somewhere along Arrow Highway in the city of Covina. Police were first alerted to the bomb threat at 5:54 p.m., according to police records.

Authorities conducted a floor-by-floor search of both the Learning Resource Center (library) and Math Building to ensure no suspicious packages, or anything else out of the ordinary was found, said Sergeant Matt Egan.

PREVIOUSLY: Another bomb threat has been reported at the campus, according to scanner reports.

The threat was first reported some time after 6 p.m. It is unknown exactly what buildings were targeted, but evacuated the Learning Resource Center (library).

Authorities, working with Campus Safety have cleared the library and have let students back in as of  6:39 p.m. The Math Building has also been cleared by authorities.

According to information from Campus Safety, classes have not been cancelled and a general search of buildings was issued.

Authorities reported an all clear in their search of the Library and Math Buildings at 6:56 p.m.
