Car Crash Knocks Over Light Pole on Huntington Drive
A car was clipped by another vehicle and careened into a light pole in the 700 block of Huntington Drive Thursday afternoon.
A car crashed into a light pole in the 700 block of Huntington Drive Thursday and knocked the pole over, police said.
A Lexus sedan turning east from the Albertson's parking lot clipped the back of an SUV traveling westbound, Monrovia Police Sgt. Dan Verna said. The SUV lost control and hit the pole, which toppled over.
"Luckily that light pole didn't hit any other cars or either of the two cars involved," Verna said.

Neither of the drivers were injured. The driver of the Lexus was cited for a failure to yield, Verna said.
