Monrovia Molestation Suspect's Court Hearing Delayed

Wade Joseph Bughman of Monrovia is accused of molesting students while teaching at Beardslee Elementary in Duarte.

A preliminary hearing was delayed Monday for a Monrovia man accused of molesting students while teaching at a Duarte elementary school.

Wade Joseph Bughman was arrested last June and is charged with 11 counts of child molestation for allegedly abusing several children while teaching at Beardslee Elementary School.

According to court records, the alleged abuse began in 1997 and continued until 2010. Seven alleged victims are listed by first name and first initial in the criminal complaint against Bughman.

Bughman's preliminary hearing was postponed until July 6, according to a court clerk.
