Flash Flood Warning Issued for Madison Fire Area
There are mandatory evacuations for the KRail areas.
The National Weather Service issued a Flash Flood Warning for the Foothill areas of Monrovia.
Mandatory evacuations are necessary for the following neighborhoods along the K-Rail:
- Highland Place north of Hillcrest Boulevard
- Scenic Drive
- Lotone
- Heather Heights north of Scenic
- Avocado Place
- Hillcrest Blvd, 600 block
- Crescent Drive, 900 block
A weather warning indicates a confirmed, current and present danger to this area.
Take necessary safety precautions.
Instructions:
Residents are advised to gather important documents, pets, medicine and evacuate all members in the household. An evacuation shelter will be set up at the Monrovia Community Center, 119 W Palm Avenue, Monrovia, CA.
