Helicopter Searched for Kids Prowling on Roof of Preschool
The police chopper began circling Monrovia at about 11 p.m. Thursday after juveniles were seen on the roof on Canyon Early Learning Center.
Two juveniles with flashlights spotted on the roof of Thursday night prompted a police helicopter to circle the area for several minutes.
It is unknown if the juveniles were attempting to burglarize the school or were merely trespassing, Monrovia Police Sgt. Daniel Verna said.
"They didn't find anybody or arrest anybody," Verna said, adding that no evidence of a break-in was found.
