Monrovia Police Chase Down Stolen Vehicle

found and chased down a man driving a stolen vehicle late Sunday morning, eventually apprehending him in Pasadena.

Sgt. Don Newton of Monrovia PD said a unit found a suspicious-looking Honda two-door vehicle on Mountain Avenue and the 210 Freeway at 11:38 a.m. After running the car's plates, the Honda came up stolen, which triggered the pursuit. The driver then headed east on the 210 before exiting near Hill Avenue in Pasadena. After he pulled over, the driver attempted to flee on foot but failed, Newton said.
