Police Blotter: Two Alleged Gang Members Arrested, One Due to Weapon Possession

Suspicious Circumstance
On August 21 at 12:50 a.m., officers responded to the 500 block of South Mayflower regarding a suspect jumping over a neighbor's fence. All available personnel responded and with the assistance of the helicopter. The area was cleared and the suspect was not found. There was no evidence of a crime.
Special Enforcement Team Weekly Activity
On August 18, Special Enforcement Team Officers responded to 1700 block of South Fifth regarding a disturbance. Both subjects are known gang members and had been drinking.Through investigation, one was arrested for possession of a weapon with the intent to use, in violation of two counts of the gang injunction order and the other arrested for drunk in public.
