A Monrovia resident was arrested Saturday, suspected of brandishing a knife at a security guard who attempted to escort him out of the library when he became angry with a copy machine.
Homer Ross, 57, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
The incident happened just after 4:30 p.m. Ross was attempting to use a copy machine at the when it reportedly gave him issues. Ross became angry with the machine, said Lieutenant Jaime Alfaro.
Ross became upset and security attempted to escort him out of the library, at which point Ross brandished a small pocket knife and began swinging it back and forth, Alfaro said.
Police arrived within minutes and took Ross into custody.
