UPDATE: Suspicious Man Reported at Citrus College, Police Search Campus

A student called police claiming the man may have a gun on him.

[7:45 p.m.]Police have cleared the scene, but did not find any man with a gun at the Citrus College campus. Classes will remain canceled for the day.

[5:15 p.m.] Azusa Police set up a minor perimeter on the Citrus College campus Wednesday afternoon, searching for a suspicious man an Azusa Pacific University student said may be carrying a gun.

The call was received at around 4 p.m. Wednesday. An APU student called police saying that a man was seen walking near Citrus College and may be carrying a gun, although no gun was actually seen.

Police believe the man entered the Student Services Building on the Citrus College campus. Glendora Police is assisting Azusa PD with the search.

Citrus College is currently alerting those on campus to stay 200 feet away from the Student Services Building at this time.
