UPDATE: Vehicle Collision on Foothill Sends Two People to Hospital

One woman lost some of her teeth and another woman injured her pelvis in the collision on Foothill Boulevard, police said.

Two motorists were hospitalized Wednesday after their vehicles collided with each other at the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Alta Vista Avenue, police said.

Police first got reports of the collision at about 11:45 a.m. A woman driving southbound on Alta Vista Avenue pulled into the Foothill Boulevard intersection and was struck by a car moving westbound, Monrovia Police Lt. Michael Lee said.

A female passenger in the car traveling westbound suffered a laceration to her leg and lost some of her teeth in the collision, Lee said.
