The Rotary Club of West Covina has announced that Congressional Candidates for the 32nd Congressional District which encompasses the center of the San Gabriel Valley will be guest speakers at its weekly club meeting.
The West Covina Rotary Club meets at South Hills Country Club Wednesdays. The meeting and lunch starts promptly at 12:15 with the program scheduled to start about 12:40.
According to current club President Drexel Smith, ”Congresswoman Grace F. Napolitano (D) and primary challenger David Miller (R) will be each given 20 minutes to speak on topics as they see fit. It is not a debate, it is an opportunity for the Rotary Club members and community leaders to hear in person both candidates share their views”. Because of the special guest speakers, the club has invited neighboring Rotary Clubs and the community at large. The cost to non-members will be $20.00.
