Senate Republican Leader Bob Huff (R-Diamond Bar) gives a preview of the final two weeks of legislative session in the California State Capitol in this week’s Capitol Comment.
He also provides an update on Senate the hearings on what he is calling the unreported “slush funds” hidden in the California State Parks and Recreation budget, which he addressed in last week’s Capitol Comment.
Huff says he is concerned about several “Job Killer” bills that are still working their way through the Legislature.
“The California Chamber of Commerce has bestowed the tag of “job killer” on 14 bills that will lead to lost jobs, higher costs for consumers or more regulatory burdens for California business owners,” Huff said.
Huff also says farewell to Senate Fellow Ryan Cogdill, who served in Senator Huff’s State Capitol office this year as part of the 2011-2012 Senate Fellowship program.
