League of Cities Honors Senator Huff
Sen. Bob Huff (R-Diamond Bar) was named Legislator of the Year by the League of California Cities.
Sen. Bob Huff (R-Diamond Bar) has been named Legislator of the Year by the League of California Cities, it was announced Wednesday night.
He will be presented with the award later this year.
“This recognition is a tremendous honor,” Huff said in a statement. “Having served for nine years as mayor and council member of Diamond Bar, I view policy decisions not only through the eyes of the state legislature, but through my city experience as well. It is my honor to represent the needs of cities in the state legislature."

"Senator Huff understands local government because he served in the trenches before he was elected to the state legislature,” Chris McKenzie, executive director of the League of California Cities, said in a statement. “He has consistently demonstrated his understanding of the importance of local control and works hard to defend this principle."
Huff represents California's 29th Senate District, which includes Monrovia and covers portions of Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino Counties.
