MAD Town Council Seeking Candidates

The council that represents the unincorporated areas of Monrovia, Arcadia and Duarte will hold elections in January.

The Monrovia Arcadia Duarte (MAD) Town Council is seeking candidates for its election in January.

The MAD Town Council is the formal advisory organization to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors that represents residents of unincorporated areas near the three cities.

Applicants must fill out the application form by Dec. 20 to be eligible for the election on Jan. 20, according to MAD Town Council President David Hall. There are two open seats available on the council.

"We just hope that there are people that are interested in being part of their community and being active," Hall said.
