Monrovia City Council Selects Interim City Manager
Francis Delach previously served as the city manager for Azusa.
The city of Monrovia will soon have an interim city manager.
The City Council Tuesday announced the selection of Francis Delach as the pick to serve until a permanent candidate can be found. Delach will start at the beginning of October.
The city plans to continue it search for a city manager for the next few months.

Delach will step in for current City Manager Laurie Lile, who announced earlier this month that she plans to retire Oct. 15.
He formerly served as the city manager for Azusa and the executive director of the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments.
