Monrovia Council Candidates Square Off in Forum Tonight

The Monrovia Chamber of Commerce and League of Women Voters are co-sponsoring a candidate forum Thursday night between the city's three City Council candidates.

From the Monrovia Chamber of Commerce:

The Monrovia Chamber of Commerce and the League of Women Voters will host a forum for the City Council Candidates beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2013.

The forum will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 415 S. Ivy Ave., Monrovia.

The forum will be aired live by Community Media of the Foothills (KGEM) from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. The community is welcome to attend and be part of the audience in the Council Chambers and submit written questions to candidates.

Viewers at home can call 626-932-5550 to submit questions for the candidates. Questions will be sorted by a panel and read by a moderator.

The forum will be taped for repeated viewing until the April 9, 2013 election. At the time of publication, there are three City Council Candidates running for 2 open seats on the City Council: Larry Spicer, Alexander Blackburn and write-in candidate Robert Parry.
