Monrovia Online Makeover: New City Website to Debut Tuesday Night

The city's revamped website will be on display at Tuesday's City Council meeting.

Monrovians will get their first look at the city's newly redesigned website Tuesday when it debuts at the regular City Council meeting.

City management analyst Alexis Newell will present the new site in a demonstration during the meeting, according to a city agenda report.

The city's current site has been targeted by hackers in the past and was briefly taken over by a group calling itself the "Latin Hack Team" last May. The group posted a message asking readers to follow it on Twitter and help curb global warming.

The city awarded web developer Mad Haus Creative to redesign the site in June. The company maintains the current city website.
