Monrovia parents and children are invited to a Family Nutrition Day at Baja Ranch Market Saturday where families can learn to make healthy choices when shopping at the supermarket.
Hosted by the Monrovia Unified School District’s Network for a Healthy California, the event will encourage families to follow healthy eating habits.
"Making healthy food choices at home begins at the store," the network's news release states. "With a better understanding of how to find healthy foods at the supermarket, families can increase the health of their families at home."
The event lasts from 11 p.m. to 1 p.m.
