More 210 Lane Closures Coming Monday, Tuesday Nights

Eastbound lanes on the 210 freeway will be closed Monday night as construction on the Gold Line bridge continues.

From the Gold Line Construction Authority:

There will be partial lane closures of the eastbound I-210 Freeway tonight between Baldwin Ave. and Santa Anita Ave. These partial lane closures of up to three lanes (the HOV and two fast lanes) will begin at 10:00 p.m. and continue through 2:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. Once those lanes re-open, the three right most lanes (slower lanes) will be closed to traffic until 6:00 a.m., at which time all lanes will re-open.

WHEN: Closure of up to three eastbound I-210 Freeway lanes is scheduled to occur on Monday, October 29 through Tuesday, October 30, 2012, as follows:

• Beginning at 10:00 p.m. on Monday, 10/29/12, up to three lanes (HOV and two fast lanes) of the eastbound I-210 Freeway will be closed to traffic. These lanes will reopen at about 2:00 a.m. on 10/30/12.

• Beginning at about 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 10/30/12, (immediately following the reopening of the HOV and two fast lanes), the three right most lanes (slower lanes) of the eastbound I-210 Freeway will be closed to traffic. These lanes will reopen by 6:00 a.m.

• No on-ramps will be closed during these lane closures

WHERE: Lane closures begin on the eastbound I-210 Freeway starting at or about Baldwin Ave. and end at Santa Anita Ave.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Traffic delays are expected on the eastbound I-210 Freeway as crews transport formwork panels used for the construction of retaining walls leading up to the Gold Line Bridge’s western abutment in the freeway median to the southern shoulder.
